Classes

Visit our classes page to see our schedule of upcoming start dates. We have a wide variety of classes filled with fun things to do with your dog, while at the same time improving your relationship with your best friend! In general, the price for a typical 6 week class is $120.00. Specialty classes, workshops and seminars will be priced differently, and will be noted with the published flier of the class

Private training

We offer private lessons, either in-home or in the facility. You can call and schedule private sessions with our staff to help with general obedience training or in-home issues which can be things like barking, appropriate greeting of guests into your home, walking nicely on a leash, housebreaking, etc.

In home fees for in-home dog training is $100 for a one hour session which includes phone evaluation before the visit and a follow-up call with trainer. Fees may be slightly lower if you choose to train privately at our location in Lombard. ADDITIONAL visits if needed would be at $60 an hour.

If dog is previously enrolled in a class and support is needed at home then a one-on-one can be scheduled for $35-50 for one hour.

Puppy socialization

We have two puppy socials each week - open to students and non-students. Puppy social is free of charge and is for puppies that are younger than 17 weeks - the younger you start socializing your pup the better!! Social time for pups 15 lbs. or less is 3:00 pm to 4:pm, and for all sizes is 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday afternoons. Please bring proof of vaccination including a negative fecal test your first time. We also recommend a Bordetella vaccination as well - this is for Kennel Cough. Cost for the Puppy Social is free! We believe so stronly about the benefits of a well-socialized puppy, we offer this service to our puppy class folks and for anyone with a puppy that fits into the age limit.

Reactive, aggressive and shyness issues

If your dog "goes crazy" when he sees another dog while on walks, or if she cowers behind you when guests come to visit we can help! We will work with you and your dog to systematically change your dog's reaction to the things that are causing them stress. Cost for private reactive dog training sessions are slightly higher depending upon individual circumstances. Please contact us for evaluation and price quote.
